Starry sky

For my sister's birthday I had the idea to create a starry sky, with flickering stars and a real layout of the constellation Scorpius.

I started by printing an image of the constellation and surrounding stars at nine pages, I wanted the starry sky to be about 1 m by 1 m. Made an error when printing so the actual sky is smaller than the MDF board I bought.

Then came the 'fun' part... drilling all the holes. I used three different drill sizes for the different sizes of the stars. I used my Proxxon TBM 220 with the head shifted to the side.
